LZ-129 Airship (Hindenburg) under construction in Friedrichshafen,Germany. Men work inside hangar. Structural framework is taken inside hangar. Visitors stand at entrance to the hangar to look at the airship under construction and read about it on signs and displays. Prefabricated sections of framework are moved into position by cable hoists. A man rides on a cable suspended from the hangar ceiling and another descends on a cable-supported scaffold. several men walk precariously along framework stringers of the airship and perform tasks at certain points along the way. One man climbs down a circular member. View, from ascending scaffold, of the structure taking shape. A workman moves on hands and knees, backwards, cautiously, across a top framework member. Shape is becoming recognizable, as seen from ascending scaffold. Having climbed down a circular section of framework, a workman hangs by his hands and drops to hangar floor. That circular section is then raised by hoists.
