Cox- Klemin XA-1 ambulance plane assists in evacuation of injured from Texas after the tornado.

After a tornado struck the small town of Rocksprings, Texas, killing 56 people and injuring another 200, the U.S. Army sent aircraft to help, including a Cox- Klemin XA-1 ambulance plane, dispatched from kelly Field. A Stretcher case being carried out to the ambulance aircraft. It taxis and takes off. A red cross on the fuselage and tail of the ambulance plane.
