They pass it to Doris Day who laughs with Cary Grant. Scene shifts to Doris Day and Cary Grant posing in front of a dugout, and then surrounded by Yankees players, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris and Yogi Berra. Cary Grant is in the background as the players shake hands with Doris Day. Next the five of them are seen, seated and conversing, in the Yankee dugout. New York Yankees beat San Franciso Giants in thrilling game 7 to win 1962 Baseball World Series

In seventh, the Giants' Willie Mays hits a long drive toward the left-field corner but Yankees' Tom Tresh makes running catch. Next up, Willie McCovey hits a triple to deep center field over Mickey Mantle's head. But Yankee pitcher Ralph Terry strikes out Orlando Cepeda to end the threat. In ninth, with Yankees leading 1-0, Giants' Matty Alou bunts an infield single. Two outs later, Willie Mays approaches batter box, hits a double down the right-field line. Yankee outfielder Roger Maris stops the ball and throws it in, preventing Alou from coming around third to score tying run. Crowd cheers. Terry pitches, Giants' Willie McCovey hits line drive right at Yankees Bobby Richardson, who catches it to end the game and clinch the title for the Yankees. Yankees mob pitcher Terry on field. Announcer notes this is the Yankees' 20th world championship.
