The veterans, led by a veteran Civil War union soldier, gather in front of the Stanley Theater (later the Roxy Theater) on the Boardwalk at Kentucky Avenue. The Stanley Theater marquee is advertising the Warner Brothers Pictures show, "Gold Diggers of 1933. 200 girls. 50 stars." The Civil War veteran is recognized first, and presented with a U.S. flag by Jack Warner of the Warner brothers.
