Young men and women punch time clock as they enter a Ford training facility

A bus rides up and parks in front of a building in a suburban campus. Men begin to exit the bus and walk toward the camera. The scene is repeated again and this time a group of young men and women step from the bus and walk along a pathway toward the building entrance (unseen). View shifts to inside the entrance hallway of the building, where doors are open to what seem like classrooms. Along the wall is a time clock and cards for persons. A succession of young men take their cards and "punch in" at the time clock, followed by several young women who do likewise.

Film opens showing a woman sitting at a kitchen table along with several children, eating dinner. Abrupt change of scene shows many men, women, and children exiting the Martha-Mary Chapel in Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan. Small boys seen are in short pants, and somewhat older boys wear Knickers (Kickerbockers). It is a summer-like day and seems to be the end of a church service. After momentary interruption, the camera pans over the chapel structure. Next, little girls and boys are shown leaving the chapel. Many of them run, happily. They are followed by grownups who could be Sunday School teachers, or the like. They linger and converse at the front of the chapel. Soon older children begin leaving the chapel.

Commuters using Detroit United Railway interurban system. An incident at night in the system.

First scene shows commuters in rush hour arriving and departing a major rapid transit station. Motor vehicles (mostly buses) are parked beside the station and electric street cars are lined up behing one another along the tracks. (No women are evident in the crowd of commuters.) Next is a nighttime scene showing commuters climbing stairs from a station platform, in what appears to be an incident of some kind. An empty streetcar is parked next to the platform. A flare is burning on the track and some passengers are walking along the tracks to the stairs .Another flare is burning on the platform, itself.

Opening scene shows a virtual tent city set up to facilitate voting by numerous elements of Ford United Auto Workers Union 600. Camera pans over the scene where buses are transporting members. It shows the headquarters building with sign reading: "Ford Local No. 600." Men are lined up to vote at tents marked according to Ward and District. They are voting on the question of ratifying the first UAW contract with Ford Motor Company that was signed June 20, 1941. A bus pulls up to a curb. It contains signs reading "Ride Free" and "Vote Yes."

Harry Bennett, a Ford Motor Company executive has fun with guests at his log cabin during the winter

Glimpse in Winter, of Lake Huron bordering property of Harry Bennett, Director of the Ford Motor Company Service Department. Camera pans quickly to show his log cabin house in the woods. Next, he and three friends are seen roughhousing in the snow. Bennett starts throwing snowballs, and his friends continue the snowball fight near their parked cars (1934 Fords). Two women approach the cars. Next, his friends pummel Bennett with snowballs as he heads toward his parked car. He jumps inside it quickly and drives away, as they throw snowballs at his car. Meanwhile, as one of the women is getting into the back of a car, one of the men throws a snowball at her. He then goes quickly to brush snow away from her. Behind them another man begins to drive his car away. The two women seated on the back seat laugh. Snow is seen on inside of the open door. Camera pans over snow and then back to the other car driving away. (It is a 1934 Ford Fordor Sedan Deluxe with the optional Potter Trunk and the spare tire.)
