Several African American pilots of the U.S. Army Air Forces 100th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group (Tuskegee Airmen), climb out of their P-51s and gather with their Commanding Officer, Andrew D. Turner, in front of his airplane named: "Skipper's Darlin," to discuss their completed flight. The pilots are: Dempsey W. Morgan Jr.; Carrol S. Wood; Robert H. Nelson Jr.; Andrew D. Turner ; and Clarence D. Lester. Separate sequence shows P-51s, of the 100th Squadron, taxiing across the marsden matting surface of the airfield with crew chiefs sitting on their wings. (One is Captain Turner's "Skipper's Darlin.") Distinctive Red Tail seen on P-51 aircraft.
