U.S. Army, Marine, and Seabee units landing on Rendova. A U.S. Navy Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bomber flies very low over the landing party. LVTs are seen (Landing Vehicle Track). Scenes of dense jungle. Large amounts of supplies are unloaded on the beachhead. U.S. troops set up antiaircraft guns on the beachhead. A formation of 4 Japanese dive bombers approaches. A Seabee uses semaphore flags to direct an LST to beach area. Seabees build shelters for war materiel and dressing stations where allied wounded are treated.
