United States Marine helicopter, carrying Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and his daughter, Indira Nehru (Indira Gandhi), lands at the Disneyland heliport in Anaheim, California. Prime Minister Nehru and daughter meets Walt Disney (Walt Elias Disney), who conducts them, personally, on a tour of Disneyland Park. Tomorrowland rides and attractions are seen. Prime Minister Nehru rides beside Walt Disney in a small open train that conveys them past waterfalls high on Matterhorn Mountain, and a recreation of an American Indian encampment. Nehru is seen waving to crowds at the park. Later, (on his 72nd Birthday) the Prime Minister and his daughter are feted at a reception by Mr. Eric Johnston, President of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), and wife Ina Harriet Hughes. Hollywood actors Edward G. Robinson and Charlton Heston are among the persons seen conversing with the Prime Minister.

Minnesota Twins play first baseball game in new city, April 1961

Newsreel clip on Minnesota welcoming major league baseball to the state in April 1961. Exterior views of Metropolitan Stadium, the home of the new Minnesota Twins. Banner reads "The Minnesota Twins Welcome You." Announcer notes team is playing in Bloomington, seven miles from each of the state's two major cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul. View of 25,000 spectators, most bundled up for a chilly day, inside stadium for the home opener against the Washington Senators. Those on hand include baseball commissioner Ford Frick, American League president Joe Cronin, and Minnesota Governor Elmer Andersen. Announcer notes the previous Washington team moved to Minnesota and was replaced with a new Senators team in Washington. Dignitaries walk on field trailed by Minnesota manager Cookie Lavagetto and Washington manager Mickey Vernon. Dignitaries raise the American flag. Governor Andersen kisses a baseball and throws out the ceremonial first pitch. Announcer notes Twins lost this game, but says "Who cares?" because Minnesota is in the big leagues.

Technicians work at AEC (Atomic Energy Commission) facility on SNAP (Systems Nuclear Auxiliary Power) generators to be launched in June and November months of year 1961. Design of SNAP generator is explained and shows generators at a pole and carried by a rocket in space. SNAP 9A modified by an added AC-DC converter. AEC personnel in fields to test missile launch effects of SNAP 9A. Simulated missile explosions are carried out to check if fuel capsule can withstand fire and explosions. After successful tests, SNAP 9A is launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
