Mayor Louis F Botjer presents an anniversary plaque to a theater person. Bess Myerson, Miss America 1945 looks at the plaque. Cars on the road.
Daniel Lascovac sits on a car and mother puts a helmet on his head. Boy sits on a small motorcycle and starts it. People gather to see him. Boy rides the motorcycle and takes it through difficult roads and areas. Boy completes the ride on his motorbike and people stand to greet him. Girl comes to the boy and kisses him. Boy eats a lollypop.
Kids sit in the field and wait for the start of the Junior Rodeo held in John Day, Oregon. Boys and girls of the age from 9 to 19 years participate in the event. Boys and girls look at a paper and discuss about it. Children have to control the steers and broncos. A girl tries to do the job and falls down. Many children try to do it, but all of them fall and fail to control the steers and broncos. People watch the children.
President Eisenhower in White House addresses the citizens of the country. President appeals to the citizens to contribute to the aid funds set for Korea as the country is suffering from the war devastation. Appeal message appears on the screens requesting citizens to donate generously to the American-Korean Fund.
