President Woodrow Wilson talks to a pilot. Scene changes to 1943 in front of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington DC, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Air Mail Service. A U.S. Army Sikorsky R-4 helicopter lands outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC. The pilot speaks to the helicopter designer, Igor Sikorsky, and receive a special package of mail. The helicopter is seen landing in Arlington Virginia at recently opened Washington National Airport, to deliver the package to a waiting aircraft. Crowd of people gathered outside at Washington National Airport terminal building to watch the helicopter landing. Mail being loaded aboard an air mail aircraft. The helicopter takes off.
Vincent Lopez and his orchestra are on stage ready to perform. He stands by his piano, and begins to conduct. The orchestra starts to play. Mr. Lopez calmly seats himself at the piano and plays along with the jazz orchestra, displaying notable flourishes as he plays. Sequence breaks and picks up with male vocalist now also on stage. The horn of the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) sounds loudly, as Mrs. Walter S. Goodland, wife of the Governor of Wisconsin, successfully breaks a bottle of champagne over the ship's bow and it starts down the ways. She is assisted by Rear Admiral M.F. Draemel, Commandant of the Navy Yard. The ship's horn continues to sound throughout the launching. Navy yard personnel and spectators all cheer.

She says that the period of prosperity will extend from 1936-1943. She further says that although war is imminent in the far East, and that some nations will become eclipsed during this period, the general trend through 1943 will be "happiness and prosperity for all."
