Italy and Austro-Hungary sign an armistice and Italian troops enter the city of Trento in World War I

In final days of World War 1, October, 1918, Italian troops are seen proceeding against Austro-Hungarian forces. The Italians advance and employ a large searchlight over the trenches at night. Shells burst above the battlefield. After Austria requested an armistice (signed on November 3rd) Austrian troops are seen surrendering in large numbers and assembling in open areas. Meanwhile, Italian troops enter the city of Trento in the Alps mountain range.
