Pilot in aircraft hears about a pilot bailing out behind enemy lines. He is instructed to photograph the area. Next, a Navy 9F9 Panther aircraft is seen in the air. It has tail code "PP" indicating it is from the aircraft Carrier USS Essex (CV 9) with Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) and Composite Squadron 61 (VC-61) from June 1951 to March 1952. . Glimpse of Navy ships in formation. View of Landing Signal Officer bringing in several 9F9 Panther aircraft to land on deck of the USS Essex. Other pilots wait anxiously as the Helicopter returns to land on the Essex flight deck. The missing pilot is aboard and they help him from the helicopter, place him on a litter and cover him with blankets. His friend takes his picture.

Retired famous Marine Corps horse, Sergeant Reckless, decorated for combat service during the Korean War.

In the middle background, what appears to be a firing range, can be seen. Other buildings sit atop hills in the far background. Scene shifts to close view of a chestnut mare, in a private stable. A sign on the gate reads "Reckless." The mare wears a blanket displaying a staff sergeant's stripes and service ribbons. The words "Sgt. Reckless 1st Mar. Div." also appear on it. Sgt. He condemns his democratic opponents during his speech. Nixon speaks about his wife Pat Nixon, shown sitting in the office and he speaks of her hard work. He presents an audit of entire campaign fund and reads it. Nixon details his modest family background and his complete financial history. He recalls his services in World War II and their earnings after he returned. Nixon mentions the incident of receiving a dog 'Checkers' as a gift. He speaks about problems of corruption and communism and a better future under the Presidency of General Eisenhower. He expresses people's expectation of lasting peace and end of the Korean war.
