Queen Elizabeth along with the other members of the royal family arrives at a church for a private service near Leeds. Nearly 2,000 distinguished persons arrive for the memorial service at the Westminster Abbey including Lady Churchill, Lord Mountbatten, Clement Attlee, Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The casket with Princess Mary's body is brought for burial as members of the Royal family and other distinguished persons stand around it.
