Federally financed road construction shows workers during the Great Depression as they reconstruct and level rugged roads under the Farm to Market Roads Program. USS Shenandoah (ZR-1) Airship disaster due to cyclonic storm in Ava Ohio.

USS Shenandoah destroyed tragically in Ava Ohio. The giant airship ZR-1 crashed due to cyclonic storm. Ripped and torn into three pieces killing several crew members. Front part of the airship crashed at Ava while middle part and tail of the ship fell at Sharon 10 miles away from Ava in Ohio.
