(This is the original plaster edition created by sculptor Dr. Felix W. de Weldon, which served as the model for the future Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington Virginia). He returns his uniform and gear to quartermasters. Stroud being given a pay check worth 1400 dollars. (World War II period).
