Demonstration of two new British guided missiles during the Cold War. The first is designed for anti-tank warfare. New British anti-tank missile is fired and its accuracy is proven as it goes through a small opening in a target cloth. Men at the controls. Next is seen a demonstration of Britain's new self-guided Thunderbird Missile, with 4 rocket boosters, used to attack other incoming missiles. Military personnel prepare and fire the missile during a demonstration.
Dogs parade with their handlers at a youth week pet show in Asbury Park. Different variety of dogs at the show, paraded by girl and boy owners. Judges discuss. Winner dogs, Great Dane and Dachshund crowned.
Town Criers gather from all over England and Wales, yelling announcements as part of their ancient craft, competing for the national championships. British crowd of people assembled. Crowd laughs and smiles at some of the crier yells.
Fashion parade shows three women as they model suede coats, hats, and vests at New York University campus.
Kayak race in Spain's Sella River shows men race in two-man crafts racing. Crowd lines up at the river banks. Belgians win the race. Belgians with winner's trophy and crowd in the background.
Former football coach Amos Alonzo Stagg, celebrates his 95th birthday. Stagg receives a pile of postal mail from the mail man, wishing him happy birthday. Views of plaques and trophies honoring coach Stagg on his fireplace mantle. Hall of Fame certificate on the wall. Stagg with young children visiting him at home. A boy at the party enjoys a bite of cake. Stagg's wife gives him a kiss. Narrator notes that he also was the pitcher for 5 Yale baseball championships, and in football he is credited with inventing the man-in-motion, the tackling dummy, and the T-formation.
