The first Polar expedition, led by United States Navy Lieutenant Commander, Richard Evelyn Byrd (an attempt to fly an airplane over the North Pole). At the beginning an African American pastor is seen speaking to his congregation during World War II. Scene shifts to Morton Field,where the "Tuskegee Airmen" were trained.
