Scenes aboard a Carrier of the U.S. Seventh Fleet as pilots and newsmen are briefed before an air raid on supply installations in North Vietnam. Aircraft on the deck of the carrier are prepared to launch. Bombs being loaded on the planes. Aircraft take off from the carrier.
Opening scene shows South Vietnamese soldiers stacking a large cache of intercepted arms destined for the Viet Cong, including a million rounds of small arms ammunition. Also seen are AK-47 rifles and mortar rounds that contain Chinese markings. Camera focuses on the Chinese writing.
