A line of students walk past and shake hands with a person in Santa costume, as adults watch from nearby. A group of younger children mob Santa, who takes it all in stride. Small children receiving gifts from Santa in his hut. Santa holds and shows a toy train to a very small child in his arms, who simply cries. The same thing happens when he tries to give a toy bear to another very small child.

The Crane belongs to the C.P. Ward Company, a New York State General Contractor Firm. The crane operator and workmen guide the upper half of the house into place.
