Freighter is seen prior to torpedo hit for a few seconds, and then a large explosion is seen and the freighter throws up billows of smoke. Periscope view continues to track target ship which appears to be sinking rapidly. A second explosion and then a third dramatic explosion is seen as the target ship is sinking. (World War II period).
