UH-1 Huey helicopters of the U.S. Army First Aviation Brigade, approach and land in trail formation at Camp Holloway, Pleiku, Vietnam. Numerous other helicopters are seen at the airfield. Change of scene shows U.S. army troops of the 101st Airborne Division boarding the helicopters, which then lift off and depart, in a trail formation of a dozen or so, UH-1s. Many of the troops ride, with their legs dangling from the choppers.

Several arriving UH-1 Huey helicopters fly low past parked ones. Six are seen hovering in formation just a few feet over the field and then moving forward toward the runway. Troops walking toward their helicopters include one contingent carrying a large American flag. Some soldiers assemble in groups, placing their gear on the ground. They are dispatched to helicopters in orderly groups. The contingent with the flag has it furled as they climb aboard a UH-1.
