A newsreel titled ' Army-Irish in game of the year' shows spectators entering the Yankee stadium to witness a football game between Army and Notre Dame in New York,United States. Spectators include Major General Taylor,Secretary of War,Patterson,Post Mater General, Academy superintendent and West Point Cadets. The two teams battle it out in a major game which finishes off in a tie.

Pilot attempting tethered flight in a one-place stripped prototype of the P-V2 helicopter Men stand by side of the helicopter as the pilot sits in the framework cockpit. They maintain hold on the landing gear of the helicopter as the pilot experiments with the controls and familiarizes himself with the helicopter's response. A long tethering rope snakes out along the ground near the helicopter. The pilot succeeds in hovering the craft a foot or two above the ground.
