A supervisor speaks about a group of firefighters who were caught unexpectedly by flames and forced to deploy their person shelters before retreating from the area. He notes that they are all safe and are receiving some medical attention. In light of this event, he reemphasizes the importance of safety. Norville on board, flips over on takeoff at Hasborough, New Jersey. In September, 1927, Clarence Chamberlin in a Bellanca aircraft taxis and takes off. The tail and right main wheel dig into the soft field on landing and the airplane is severely damaged.
