Twin statues of Buddha overlook fields from Mount Chan Ji, Korea

Two huge statues of Buddha carved out of rocks on Mount Chan-ji, and known as the merciful Buddhas. One statue wears a square hat and the other a round one. ( According to legend, Sun Jong, 13th king of the Koryo Dynasty had them carved and successfully prayed at the site for a son and heir. Ever since, couples hoping to have sons have, likewise, visited the site.)
