Korea Date:1951, November 13 Duration:1 min 25 sec Sound:NO SOUND
Troops of the U.S. Army 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team proceed into a fenced bivouac area as part of their post airdrop activities during training exercise in the Korean War. Two local Korean men walk past them. Supply sergeants stand by boxes of rations, and soldiers are seen eating as they relax in the bivouac field. Troops line up at an American Red Cross Canteen Trailer, where a woman Red Cross worker is handing out refreshments. She turns and shows the Red Cross patch on her uniform sleeve. A smiling lieutenant walks away from the canteen trailer with a donut in his hand. Other soldiers gather around the trailer.
