American soldiers nail siding boards into place on the exterior of their new mess hall at the Dong Tam Base Camp in South Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. Lots of hammering is heard from other workers (unseen). A wide strip, of what appears to be fine screening or plastic, has been fastened around the structure, above the top siding boards. Camera moves back revealing the wider construction site, with several men at work. One soldier stands near an M149 (400 gallon) Water Buffalo trailer. Other wooden buildings are seen at the camp.
