Operation Head Start in United States. Volunteer demonstrates a rabbit to children at Head Start Pre-school. She asks a boy to hold it and tries to remove his suspicion and fear. Children hold rabbit. One teacher with two assistants in a class of 15 students. Teacher carries a boy and cuddles him. Volunteer plays guitar, sings in a class and children sing along. A boy stands aloof. He joins the group afterwards. Children build toy rail road and play in sandbox. They fight and teacher interrupts to resolve their fight. A boy rides cycle while another stands with teacher waiting for their turn. They stop the boy at 'Stop' board and exchange cycle. Two little girls play with dolls and shopping trolley. They wear hats and footwear bigger than their size. Children play role of doctor. Teacher helps a boy to listen to his own heartbeat with stethoscope. He uses it on his teacher too.
