ARVN soldiers advance during the Tet Offensive Battle of Hue in the Vietnam War. Refugees cross wrecked Truong Tien Bridge. Destruction in the city due to battle. Soldiers distribute food and medical supplies to the people. People run in search of shelter and to protect themselves from firing and bombardment. Child takes his father on his back to help him move to a safe place. People carry family members on their shoulders and help the handicapped and old people to reach safety. People are crying because of destruction and loss of life. They are sent to safety as soldiers help them to cross to the other side of the bridge. They walk with their belongings in their hands. Other people help them by taking the injured people on stretchers. A man and a child look at the graves of the civilians who died in the battle.
