People in the Ottoman Empire display enthusiasm for entry into World War 1. Opening scene shows a Bedouin girl performing a "wild sword dance" in Palestine, near the Dead Sea on the Sinai peninsula. Other girls and women are lined up near her and clap and sway to the same rhythms. Sequence shifts to Turkey and a large gathering of people at start of Ottoman mobilization for World War 1. Uniformed soldiers wearing the fez are seen mingling with civilians. In a change of scene, camels walk along carrying supplies for Ottoman troops in Jerusalem. Camel tenders are seen at a water hole, washing items and drawing water. Turkish boy scouts and ship boys parade in the midst of the war mobilizing activities.
