Processing German prisoners during World War One. A line of German prisoners of war stand above a trench at the front, in France, where they are being processed under supervision of British non-commissioned officers. Each prisoner is searched and then sent on for transport to the rear. Several are asked to pose momentarily for the camera before proceeding.
