United States Marines during the 'Operation Buffalo' in Con Thien, Vietnam. M48A1 tank of 'A' company parked on the grass field. Marines standing on the grassy area near the tank. Some marines walk through the remains of NVA (North Vietnamese army) bunker. Marine places captured NVA pack on ground and searches through it. He lifts articles of clothing and throws them out. He removes small square container and opens it. Body of a dead NVA soldier lay on ground. Marine picks up empty tin can, examines it and throws it. He stands in a shallow hole over the body of dead NVA soldier. He talks to another marine. He stands on a shallow hole searching through cart belt on body of dead NVA soldier. He removes magazine from cart belt and throws it. He searches through clothing of the dead NVA soldier. He removes small white object from soldier's pocket and throws it on the ground.
