Instructor explains operations to the trainee and requests ground crewman to turn the left engine through several times. He points to button on side of engine power lever and goes into extended discussion of it. Pilot operates engine ignition switch and camera shows heat and fumes from the engine. Pilot actuates fuel button and advances power lever. Dashboard gauge shows increased fuel flow. The pilots talk some more. Camera pans across the controls just actuated.
