Segment of Luftwaffe World War II training film about the Me-262 jet aircraft. Instructor explaining switches to another German pilot seated in cockpit of a Messerschmitt Me-262 jet aircraft. Camera focuses on hand moving shields away from guarded engine ignition switches. Next it shows engine fuel flow and temperature gauges. Instructor explains operations to the trainee and requests ground crewman to turn the left engine through several times. He points to button on side of engine power lever and goes into extended discussion of it. Pilot operates engine ignition switch and camera shows heat and fumes from the engine. Pilot actuates fuel button and advances power lever. Dashboard gauge shows increased fuel flow. The pilots talk some more. Camera pans across the controls just actuated.
