Rohr faces the last batter as scoreboard (in background) shows the Red Sox' 3-0 lead and zero hits for Yankees. Yankee catcher Elston Howard lines a single into right field, breaking up the no-hitter. Rohr gets final out and crowd cheers and teammates congratulate him. Final shot is Rohr standing at top step of dugout, chewing gum, contemplating how close he came to the rare baseball feat.
