A rum running scandal at a port in Brooklyn, New York during Prohibition. Sacks of alcoholic liquors, on cargo motor ship "Shanaliam" intercepted by the Coast Guard. The smugglers are searched and arrested by authorities, as they leave the vessel. Some cover their faces from the camera. Stevedores unload the ship, as Coast Guard officer watches. The sacks are being loaded in trolleys. A few liquor bottles are shown. The sacks are loaded onto a truck. The truck is driven away. Two Coast Guard officers stand at the back of the truck.
