U.S. President John F. Kennedy speaks at rally in parking lot opposite the Texas Hotel, in Fort Worth Texas, on the morning before his assassination. Others in attendance include Vice President Lyndon Johnson, Texas Governor John Connally, and Senator Ralph Yarborough. Rain and drizzle fall. The President is seen walking under a marquee at the hotel with words, "Welcome to Forth Worth, where the West begins", and out to the crowd waiting in the rain. He shakes hands with people in the crowd and then ascends a stage with the rest of the officials. After introductions, Vice-President Johnson speaks very briefly and then President Kennedy speaks at the podium, flanked by the other officials. The Presidential.Seal is displayed on the podium.
