King Faisal's motorcade enters the White house drive. The king steps from his car and is greeted by President Johnson. Secretary of State, Dean Rusk is also seen. President Johnson escorts King Faisal to a podium on the South Lawn, where they and Secretary Rusk, with several other officials, stand for formal welcoming ceremony. The trumpeters on the White House balcony sound a fanfare. Crowd is seen lining the White House driveway. U.S. soldiers, from the Old Guard, begin firing a 21 gun salute with field artillery guns. The Saudi flag is seen. President Johnson and King Faisal review formations of U.S. military personnel, drawn up on the south lawn. They are guided by an officer from the Old Guard.
