A group of U.S. Army medics, wearing red cross helmets, carry a wounded soldier of the U.S. 8th Infantry Division, on a stretcher. They are assisted by a captured German soldier, and followed by an armed U.S. soldier. They carry the wounded soldier into a concrete block building that serves as a field medical treatment center.
