President of United States Richard Nixon and First Lady Pat Nixon as they prepare to leave following their visit to Salzburg in Austria. President Nixon and First Lady arrive in their car escorted by motorcycle escorts to the Salzburg Airport. A crowd of people waits for him at the terminal building. The couple greeted by officials. Security and U.S. Military personnel keep a vigil. The Nixons mingle with crowd of officials and well-wishers as they say their goodbyes, to them and to their host, Chancellor Bruno Kreisky, of the Federal Republic of Austria. While strolling about, President Nixon stops to shake hands with the Director of a Band of musicians all dressed in Tyrolean costume. Nixon smiles at them and waves the crowd. He answers questions from reporters as they walk along with him and take notes. Press photographers take photos.
