Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Joseph W. Martin, Jr. stands on sidewalk and chats with reporters. Mr. Martin is next seen sitting and conversing with President Eisenhower. The President fools with his eyeglasses and looks at his watch during the conversation. The Speaker and James Hagerty , the President's Press Secretary, leave the building together, and get into a car.
