Animated save food public service campaign in the United States during World War 1, promoting food rationing and conservation. A man and a woman at a table. The man, who is very overweight, eats a meal. A sign in the background reads ' Eat less food this means you '. His wife, who is slender, berates him, but he ignores her. The mans walks on sidewalk, past posters reading such things as:' Hooverize food for USA ' , ' Eat less food' . He sleeps and has stomach trouble and dreams of being hit by a bull. The man in a hospital being treated with less food. A vision of Uncle Sam berates him. Later, recovered, healthy and trim, the man discards his medicines.
