Crane lifts smashed aircraft engines (Pratt and Whitney R-1340-10) following crash of the first aircraft assigned to the Coast Guard Air Station, St. Petersburg, Florida. The aircraft bears the identification: Coast Guard 131. It is a Douglas RD-4 Dolphin amphibian named Mizar.The fuselage (missing empennage) is lifted by crane and guided by coast guardsmen. Later, the wing is moved separately by crane, along the pier.
