Cargo being loaded aboard the cabin of an autogyro
United States USA Date:1935 Duration:5 sec Sound:NO SOUND
Two men load cargo into cabin of an aircraft (autogyro) that appears to obtain lift from two coaxial counter-rotating large wings atop the craft. The "wings," or rotors, are very wide, and contain moveable flight surfaces (ailerons). forward thrust is provided by an unenclosed radial engine driving a large propeller. The aircraft is also equipped with empennage. It is parked in a fenced area. A considerable amount of cargo sits on the ground, ready to be loaded. Scene shifts to possibly unrelated image of an unkempt man wearing a headset.
