Marshal Ion Victor Antonescu, Military Dictator of Romania, inspects German and Romanian troops in Crimea. He is accompanied by entourage of German and Romanian Generals. He awards medals to Romanian and German soldiers, including the Order of the Star of Romania, that he awards to a General, who then presents Antonescu with a large book. He exchanges parting salutes with General Avramescu, commander of Romanian Mountain troops, and boards a Junkers J-52 aircraft. The aircraft taxis for takeoff.
The engine cowling of the aircraft bears a painted image of a mustached mans head wearing a fez and encircled by a Crescent. (World War II period).
