People gathered in large number at Bolling field in Washington DC, United States. Aircraft land, Maitland and Hegenberger get off the aircraft. General Patrick and General Fechet become the first ones to greet the fliers. General Patrick, Anthony Fokker, C L Lawrence, Eddie Rickenbacker and Charles Lindbergh also greet the pilots. Lieutenants Maitland and Hegenberger receive the citations for distinguished flying.
