Plane lands after the first successful Trans Atlantic flight as men run along with the taxing aircraft. Mayor of Chicago William Hale Thompson and others receive Charles Lindbergh the pilot of Spirit of St Louis. Lindbergh and others drive away in an open car to Soldier's Field. A reception ceremony takes place and Lindbergh addresses the gathering. Boys scout lined up at the podium during the ceremony. Lindbergh and others leave in the same car.
