British steamer "Georgic" bound from Philadelphia to Brest and Liverpool with cargo of munitions, is interdicted at sea by the German cruiser SMS Möwe (or sometimes written SMS Moewe), during World War 1. View of the steamer and members of its crew rowing a lifeboat towards the Möwe. German sailors from the Möwe are seen in a boat, flying the German flag, as they row to take control of the steamer. Explosions in water to Georgic's starboard.
