Vladivostok Russia Date:1918 Duration:31 sec Sound:NO SOUND
General Kikkuzo Otani, Commander-in Chief of the Allied forces in Eastern Siberia, prepares to be photographed by an American cinematographer, at Japanese headquarters in Vladivostak, during the Allied intervention in Siberia in World War 1. At first, U.S. Major General William S Graves is seen suggesting how an honor guard of Japanese soldiers should stand on the balcony of the headquarters. General Otani then comes on to the balcony and discusses, with General Graves, the manner of posing. Once they get settled down, we see a closeup of General Otani, and then he and General Graves shaking hands. (Only their hands are shown.) (World War I; World War 1; WWI; WW1)
