U.S. Army Air Forces C-54 transport aircraft carrying French General Charles de Gaulle, landing at Washington National Airport. Military honor guard is assembled on the ramp at the Air Transport Command section of the airport. Parked on tarmac are U.S. military aircraft include: B-17; T-6; several C-45s; and a C-46.
