Cheering Parisians on the streets in Paris, France. A truck loaded with cheering civilians and an American light tank moves through the streets. Trees on either side of the streets. Flying French and British flags on a building. The flag tilted down to Canadians in a jeep. The jeep pulls away from the building and goes through a huge crowd. Cheering Parisians wave arms. A girl kisses a soldier. Soldiers drink from a bottle of wine. A British soldier raises a glass in a toast. French General Charles de Gaulle in the crowd, talking to other French officers. Officers stand near him. A car leaves, trying to make progress through the cheering crowd. Final scene shows allied soldiers talking to or interrogating a line of at least 6 Nazi German officers who were captured and being held prisoner.
