The railroad, itself, is barricaded. The British officers turn him over to waiting Red Cross personnel. The repatriated man is seen conversing with a uniformed Red Cross Officer and several other men. Later he is seen sitting on a bench beside a uniformed Red Cross woman who wears white gloves. The repatriated man sits before a number of broadcasting microphones, in a garden, flanked by two women, and surrounded by a group of other persons. He is interviewed by reporters and responds to their questions.
